Search Warrant Turns up Cocaine
On Tuesday, November 26th the Key West Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit executed a Search Warrant at Santa Clara Condominiums (3312 Northside Dr) following the issuance of an arrest warrant for a resident. The warrant was obtained after detectives began investigating suspected narcotics sales activity at the location.
Detectives searched the residence, recovering and seizing more than an ounce of powder cocaine, $14,305 in suspected drug proceeds, an AR pistol and a handgun along with a litany of drug paraphernalia evidencing drug sales.
Antonio Curry, 37, who is currently being held at the Monroe County Detention Center, was charged with sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a church and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
Curry also has additional charges pending related to trafficking in narcotics as well as firearms violations.
