Cow Key Bridge Reopens Today

All four lanes of the Cow Key Channel Bridge are expected to be open on Today. But motorists will still see work underway as crews return the approaching roadway back to normal. The two open lanes on the bridge will also be a little skewed as workers us the inside shoulder areas as work areas.

Sidewalks on both sides of the bridge will be open, but the bicycle lanes on the roadway will remain closed while the median work continues. The Heritage Trail will also be open.

The left turn light and lane onto College Road will be fully functional, and motorists will be able to access College Road at the south entrance again. The light at the north entrance of College Road will be set to flash beginning Friday morning, and will be removed next week.

The majority of the remaining roadwork returning the bridge approach to its preconstruction configuration will be performed at night with some lane closures. There will be no daytime lane closures.
