Health Department launches free Mental Health and Wellness Resource Website
Monroe County, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County launched a free community mental health and wellness resource website. Monroe County residents are a resilient community and the COVID-19 pandemic is one major event that has and continues to bring heightened stress and anxiety to residents. This website is aimed to promote the existing United Way of Collier and the Keys Community Resource Guide, the most comprehensive online resource available to Monroe County with services ranging from food drives to mental health and family support services. The department’s website also provides additional free resources for residents, including where to seek support for mental health services through the Guidance Care Center, tips on calming distress, and advice on supporting your health through this crisis.
