FKAA Commemorates Drinking Water Week

Florida Keys – April 30, 2020 – The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority is kicking off Drinking Water Week by encouraging consumers to recognize their tap water is “There When You Need It”.  And, at no time in recent history, has it been more important than now.

The American Water Works Association has designated May 3-9 as Drinking Water Week and we want to assure our customers that we will continue to provide this essential resource during these challenging times.   Join us in recognizing the vital role tap water plays in daily life, the infrastructure that is required to deliver this resource and the important work of water professionals “behind the scenes.”

To commemorate the week, water utilities, water organizations, government entities, environmental advocates and other stakeholders throughout North America and beyond will encourage consumers to understand and appreciate their drinking water.
