The Key West Garden Club meeting on March 5

The Key West Garden Club will hold its next monthly meeting  on Thursday, March 5, at 1:30 PM . Because of ongoing restoration of  the brickwork at West Martello, the meeting will be held  at the Gato Building, 1100 Simonton Street.  This  month’s speaker will be Mark Hedden, photographer, writer, semi-professional birdwatcher, and  a resident of Key West for the past 25 years. He is the Executive Director of the Florida Keys Audubon Society.  Mark has entitled his presentation:  ” In Search of the Cuban Finch and Other Rare Birds of Key West.”  The  meeting is free and open to the public.  For questions or information call Cathie Gottschalk at 914-393-2358.
