Plein Air Key West Demonstration Saturday, March 9th

Plein Air Key West is happening Saturday, March 9th. A kickoff celebration is scheduled on Friday,
March 8th from 4PM-6PM, where celebrated artist John Clayton from Provincetown, MA, will give a
demonstration and talk at the Key West Art Center, 301 Front Street, followed by a happy hour with the
opportunity to preregister for the next day’s paint out.

Key West Art Center doors open at 830AM Saturday for registration-$35 per artist-$30 for members, to
benefit the nonprofit Art Center. Painters choose their location and paint outdoors or en plein air. Past
artworks have featured conch houses, houseboats, and iconic Key West places like Blue Heaven, Key West
Lighthouse, Hemingway House depicted in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, or coloreds pencil.

Happy Hour Show and Sale for the 11th Annual Plein Air Key West will be held from 5-7PM, with music
by Skipper Kripitz. This year, all attendees for the happy hour show are invited to cast a vote for their
favorite painting. Prizes will be awarded accordingly.
