Lower Keys Medical Center Welcomes Tony Nolen As Its Director Of Laboratory Services

Tony Nolen has joined Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West, Florida as a Director overseeing its inpatient and outpatient laboratory services. He has transferred to Key West from Central Georgia where he was the Laboratory Director at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia.

Mr. Nolen brings 23 years of laboratory experience to Key West. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.

As the Director of both the inpatient and outpatient laboratory department at Lower Keys Medical Center, Mr. Nolen is responsible for the management of laboratory staff, budget, education, quality, recruitment and retention. His goal is to improve quality by streamlining processes and improving technology.
