Young Anglers Get A Surprise Visit At Ocean Fest In Key West

While waiting to start their fishing experience, young anglers at Ocean Fest in Key West got a surprise visit from Copper, a juvenile loggerhead sea turtle and Richie Moretti, founder and director of The Turtle Hospital.  Richie introduced Copper and shared suggestions on how to keep sea turtles and other marine animals safe when fishing. How to properly dispose of their fishing line and gear and what to do if they come across a sick or injured sea turtle.  Richie has been teaching young anglers at Ocean Fest since its inception.
