Everglades National Park Hosts “From A Different Angle” Photography Exhibit By Paula Baxter In April

HOMESTEAD, Fla: Everglades National Park invites the public to enjoy a photography exhibit entitled, “From a Different Angle” by Paula Baxter at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center Gallery during the month of April.  An Artist’s Reception is being held on Sunday, April 10 (between 2 to 4 p.m.).

According to the photographer, “I have volunteered and photographed in Everglades National Park for 9 years and have been fortunate to have had many opportunities to observe the park’s wildlife. This exhibit is called “From a Different Angle” because it captures some sights rarely seen by visitors. I hope you enjoy these photos of our inhabitants and their environment, and that they highlight the need to protect and preserve this treasure for generations to come.”

The Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center is located at 40001 State Road 9336, approximately 10 miles southwest of Homestead.  It features award-winning natural history displays, an 18-minute film about Everglades National Park, and related book sales.  Center hours are currently 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.   On April 3, the Visitor Center hours will change for the summer season (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily). Admission to the visitor center is free.
