Lisa Lansden Is Mrs. Florida American Renaissance 2016

Lisa Lansden of Key West, Florida has clinched the title of Mrs. Florida American Renaissance 2016.  Lisa will compete for the national title of Mrs. American Renaissance at the American Renaissance Pageant in Orlando, Florida the weekend of September 22-24th.

Lisa has competed in pageants since her childhood and enjoys meeting other people who are actively involved in their communities.  It is through this networking that she has accomplished much of the work with Project Inspiration benefiting the Florida Keys Children’s Shelter.

Lisa, 44, is the wife of Dr. True Lansden, and mom to Ken, Tommy, David, Tyler, and Michael.  She has one grandson, Perry.  Lisa is employed as the Manager and Patient Coordinator of True Plastic Surgery of the Florida Keys in both Key West and Marathon.

Lisa’s platform is “Project Inspiration”, a project Lisa began in 2009 during her year as Mrs. American Dream.  The project consists of artists coming into the Florida Keys Children’s Shelter to paint murals in each of the bedrooms and in the hallways and common areas.  Wyland, Stacie Krupa, the Daryl Norem, Pasta Pantaleo, Brooke Spaulding, Elena Ortega, Diane Schiedler, Carmen Kelly, Veronica Gutierrez, and BJ Royster have all contributed countless hours to Project Inspiration and making the shelter a better place for the children.  Porcelain tile was also purchased and installed in the shelter as part of Project Inspiration.  Next, she hopes to have all of the bathrooms at the shelter replaced.  The Project has also featured in the Platform Magazine.
