An All-Star Cast Sings for Woman’s Hope

Key West, Florida – The 10th anniversary celebration of the Woman’s Hope Concert on April 1 at 8 PM at the Tennessee Williams Cabaret Theatre will deliver everyone’s favorite stars with a who’s who of Key West performers, and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Keys Area. The show features an all-star musical lineup that includes Paul Cotton, Christopher Peterson, Kim Gordon, Melody Cooper, JB McLendon, Adrienne Zolondick, Dora Gholson, and Fiona Molloy. This big, polished musical variety show produced by the Key West Woman’s Club is lots of fun and features a top-flight band including Mike Emerson, Joe Dallas, Linda Sparks and Dave Parker, and musical direction by Kim Gordon. With eight standout headliners all on one stage, the Woman’s Hope Concert will be an exciting mix of pop, rock, Broadway, jazz, blues, Irish folk songs, cabaret and standards.

Tickets are $45-$65 and can be purchased through www.Keystix.com or the Tennessee Williams Theatre box office at 305-296-1520. “Just one community organization provides affordable meals, after-school and summer programs to more than 200 children,” said Key West Woman’s Club chairperson Kim Gordon. “So this year, the Woman’s Hope Concert will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Keys Area to ensure all our local kids have the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe and positive environment.”

The Woman’s Hope Concert was created in 2007 by Kim Gordon with the Key West Woman’s Club, and has since donated more than $250,000 to help Florida Keys residents in need. “Annually, the Key West Woman’s Club provides over $100,000 to supplement local non-profit budgets, reaching $143,000 in 2015, and the Woman’s Hope Concert is a big part of this philanthropic effort,” according to club president Roberta Spencer. Proceeds from Woman’s Hope ticket sales will be combined with sponsorship donations, and sponsors will be acknowledged in the concert program.
