Suspect Sought For Robbery Kidnapping Batter Home Invasion And Grand Theft

Key West Police Detectives on Thursday arrested one man and are seeking another for the robbing and beating a 63-year old Key West man in his home. Alfred Leroy Rahming, 24, was arrested and charged for a felony home invasion without a firearm.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on November 14th. According to the victim, he met two men at a local club and they all left together when it closed. According to the victim, they went to an after hours club, then the men drove him to an ATM for cash. Back in the car, one of the men took the victim in a choke hold, and they drove to the victim’s house. They forced him inside, still in a choke hold, he says. Once inside the house, the victim says the two men beat him severely and continuously while searching for valuables. They took his wallet, cash, and electronics from the house.

The suspects were identified with the help of surveillance video at the club where the victim first encountered the two men.

Police are still seeking John Paul Walker, Jr., 36, on charges of robbery, kidnapping, felony battery, home invasion robbery and grand theft.
