Designer Jane Gardner Launches Grand Opening with Downtown Showroom

On Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, interior designer Jane Gardner welcomes the public to help her celebrate the grand opening of her 328 Simonton Street showroom, featuring a wide array of carefully selected indoor and outdoor furnishings, decorative accessories, and gifts that offer a Key West flair and complement Gardner’s design services.

After nearly five decades of Christmas and spring break visits to the island with her family, Gardner relocated to Key West last year from Chicago, bringing with her more than thirty years in the interior design industry and clients from all over the country.  Despite her national appeal, her Simonton Street showroom distinctly reflects her love for the island and its many customer styles.

“I have always had a more eclectic approach to design,” she says, explaining how she blends favorite pieces from a client’s home with more updated products and designs.  “I love spaces that blend Old World with modern, and am known for blending patterns and color in a unique way that highlight the furnishings and architecture of any space.”

Gardner combines her talent and aesthetic with sound business ethics and judgment when caring for and creating a person’s most personal space, insuring delight for both she and her customer.

“My motivation and passion for interior design has always been to understand my client’s aesthetic and find the best resources to create their best space or home,” she says.  “The challenge is always to combine my expertise with their views and find their special style for living in the space.”

The two-day event will include raffle prizes, refreshments, and complimentary initial consultations for customers interested in her services.

“Not all clients are comfortable expressing their taste or their likes and dislikes, due to lack of experience, interest, or time,” says Gardner.  “My job and joy is to help them find and define their style by bringing my expertise to their lives and sourcing the best possible solutions to their specific design needs.”

Gardner will run her interior design business from the showroom with her part time assistant Tracey Holst, who “brings a unique fashion designer’s approach to merchandising and customer interaction,” says Gardner.

“I feel blessed to be amongst a community of open minded, socially responsible and giving individuals who also have been touched by Key West’s unique beauty and charm,” she says.

A portion of the event’s proceeds will support the Key West Equestrian Facility. For more information, contact [email protected] or visit www.janegardnerinteriors.com.
