DAVE TALPASZ NAMED SPOTTSWOOD MANAGEMENT’S NEW DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS
Key West, FL | November 18, 2015 – Dave Talpasz, Marriott’s 2014 Restaurateur of the Americas and the General Manager of the award-winning Tavern N Town Restaurant located at the Marriott Beachside hotel, has been named the new Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Operations for Spottswood Management, Inc. In his new role, Dave will be responsible for the oversight and management of food and beverage operations across all outlets currently managed by Spottswood Management, Inc. while maintaining his leadership of Tavern N Town.
Dave joined Spottswood Management in 2012 as the Director of Restaurants for the Marriott Beachside Hotel, eventually being promoted to Director of Food and Beverage for the entire resort. Under his leadership, Tavern N Town has been consistently ranked in the Top Ten of all Marriott restaurants and has received numerous accolades from travel industry publications such as TravelHost Magazine and TripAdvisor’s Certificates of Excellence program. Tavern N Town is currently ranked as the third most popular restaurant in Key West on reservation-booking website OpenTable.com.
