FOREVER PLAID MARATHON COMMUNITY THEATER will present the musical comedy FOREVER PLAID, opening Thursday, November 19, 2015 and continuing until December 12, 2015.  Evenings  8PM and Matinees(2)  3PM.    Written and originally Directed and Choreographed by Stuart Ross.

This is a wonderful and hilarious show enjoyed by all audiences, young and old, and anyone who appreciates good music, good singers, and good humor.  Performing will be John Hunt, Bryan Foster,  Jerry Nussenblatt, and Paul Carmichael*.

Featuring these four very  talented singers,  all living in the Keys, and  together  harmonizing to some of the great songs of the late 50s and early 60s. In the manner of the “guy groups” like The Four Lads,  The Four Freshman, the Hi-Los, and the Crew Cuts, singing songs like:  Three Coins in the Fountain, Moments to Remember, Cry, Heart and Soul, Perfidia, No Not Much, Rags to Riches, Love is a Many Splendored  Thing and many others.

*During the performances, and for the next two months, the magnificent nature  photography of Paul Carmichael will be displayed in the Marathon Community Theater Gallery.  As a working artist in Frangipani Gallery in Key West, his photos are residing in many homes in the U.S. and abroad. Paul is especially proud to have his photos displayed in Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the old Key West Courthouse, National Geographic, Key West Fine Arts Center and The Audubon House Gallery. He has participated in many juried art shows in South Florida, including the Pigeon Key art show
