Locals Free Sunday At The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden

KEY WEST –November 1st is the first Sunday of the month and is designated as “Locals Free” day at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden, 5210 College Road on Stock Island.  The entrance fee for all local residents with Monroe County I.D. will be waived on Sunday, November 1, 2015.   The Garden is open 10am to 4pm.  Members always have free entrance and all dogs are welcome.  Fall migration season is happening now and there are hundreds of birds coming to stay for the winter or rest for a few days as there is plenty of fruit and seeds on the trees and bushes for them.  Come and experience the biodiversity of plant and animal life and see how the Garden functions as a sanctuary for an endangered ecosystem.  Bring your lunch and picnic in the Courtyard by the waterfall.  Free Wi-Fi.  The Garden also welcomes all volunteers.  For more information call 305-296-1504 or visit www.keywestbotanicalgarden.org.  The Garden is handicapped accessible.
