Final Hometown! PAC forum Sept. 29

Hometown! PAC is holding its fifth and final event of the political season at 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29, in the lobby of the Tennessee Williams Fine Arts Center on the campus of the Florida Keys Community College.

There will be a question and answer forum for judicial candidates, group 4; Monroe County commissioner, district 2; Mosquito Control Board, districts 2 and 5; and candidates for U.S. representative.

Superintendent of Schools Mark T. Porter will answer questions about the one-half cent sales surtax referendum.

The candidates are:

MOSQUITO CONTROL BOARD—4-year term

District 2 — Incumbent: Phillip Goodman (Rep.), Roger A. Cousineau (Dem.), Lynda “Captain” Schuh (Independent)

District 5 –Thomas McDonald (Rep.), Geoffrey Bailey (Dem.)

CIRCUIT JUDGE—6-year term

Group 4 –Jack Bridges, Bonnie J. Helms

COUNTY COMMISSIONER– 4-year term

District 2—Incumbent: George Neugent (Rep.), Eleanor McAdams (Dem.)

U.S. REP—DIST 26

Incumbent—Joe Garcia (Dem.), Carlos Curbelo (Rep.)
