The hot topic of waste collection is recycling, and one of the leading issues worldwide is disposable grocery bags, and their impact on our environment. Now that Waste Management will be receiving an additional $14 million wouldn’t it make sense for them to use some of that money to revamp their machinery to accept those billions of plastic scraps instead of having us treat them as trash?
It would be comforting to have some level of responsibility instead of seeing those recyclable bags left behind in the blue containers.
Proper waste disposal should be taught and applied at home. We can save some bucks if these are done in the house properly, but of course, if really need professional people to dispose especially the hazardous ones like chemical wastes, that’s the time we’ll be needing the professional works of others. My point is, being responsible with our trashes and wastes is very important in today’s time and age.
