Womankind BraZaar raises over 30-thousand dollars for affordable health care
Samantha Usina models Dani Holliday’s decorated bra “Let’s Get Nauti,” one of a dozen original designs live-auctioned off by radio personality Steve Miller at Womankind’s annual BraZaar gala fundraiser. The high-energy, fast-moving auction held at Key West Theater featured a “Big Top Bash” circus theme and raised more than 30-thousand dollars, including a five-thousand-dollar matching grant from Eileen Kawaler in honor of her mother, Sarah, a two-time breast cancer survivor who will celebrate her 99th birthday this December. The annual gala is a favorite among locals, where fun and funds come together to help make breast health care affordable to all.
