Woman arrested in fraud case

A 56-year-old Big Pine Key, Florida woman was arrested by authorities in Atlanta, Georgia Wednesday on a Sheriff’s Office warrant for financial fraud.

Karen Collins Leonard was charged with 12 counts of notary fraud.

The investigation showed Leonard forged documents for a Big Pine Key, Florida heating and air conditioning business for her own financial interest dating to 2017.
