Woman arrested for stealing boat

A 41-year-old Summerland Key, Florida woman was arrested Wednesday for stealing a boat and trailer.

Angela Elisa Allmand was charged with two counts of grand theft.

The owner of a 2014 Mako 17-foot boat and trailer notified the Sheriff’s Office in September that her boat and trailer that were being stored on her vacant lot on Summerland Key were gone.

The subsequent investigation showed Allmand, who lives near the victim’s vacant lot, took the boat and trailer. The boat and trailer were subsequently found on Big Pine Key, Florida.
