Updated Community Resource Guides Available

Florida Keys – United Way of the Florida Keys (UWFK) is pleased to announce the release of the updated Florida Keys Community Resource Guide. Working in partnership with organizations throughout Monroe County, UWFK provides thousands of booklets as resources for the entire community. Residents are encouraged to use the Community Resource Guides as a referral source for services available in Monroe County.

All of the listings included in the printed version, as well as additional Disaster Resources, are available at KeysUnitedWay.org/CommunityResourceGuide. The online edition has the most up-to-date information, contains live website links and phone numbers where applicable, and is in a user-friendly format. A downloadable PDF copy of the Community Resource Guide is also available on the webpage.

Community Resource Guides are available to the public at locations throughout the Keys including the Florida Department of Health – Monroe County offices at the Gato Building in Key West, the Ruth Ivins Center in Marathon, and the Roth Building in Tavernier.  Residents may email [email protected] or call 305-735-1929 for more information.

Set quantities are available to Monroe County organizations. Additional copies may be available for a suggested donation.

The Community Resource Guide is made possible through support from the Monroe County Homeless Services Continuum of Care, Lower Keys Medical Center, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. UWFK’s mission is to be the leader in community caring, making our community a better place for all Monroe County residents. Distributing the Community Resource Guide as a tool to better serve the Florida Keys community is one of the many ways this is accomplished.
