Two juveniles arrested in burglary case

Two Lower Keys teenagers, both male, were arrested Tuesday for breaking into a residence and stealing multiple bottles of alcohol.

The 17-year-old of Big Pine Key and the 15-year-old of Cudjoe Key both face charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, theft, and wearing a mask in the commission of a crime.

The Sheriff’s Office was notified of the residential break-in on Cahill Court on Big Pine Key on Tuesday. Security footage showed both suspects in masks entering the residence via an unlocked door and leaving with multiple bottles of alcohol.

Both admitted they burglarized the residence.
