Two Arrested on Meth and Fentanyl Charges

On March 13th, 2022, the Key West Police Department Special Investigations Unit in conjunction with the Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant at 3421 Riviera Drive with the assistance of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, U.S Border Patrol and Homeland Security Investigations.

During the execution of the search warrant two SRT operators were exposed to Fentanyl. Both officers were transported to the hospital by the Key West Fire Department, where they were treated and later released. The DEA Clandestine Laboratory Team responded from Miami to assist. During the search Detectives and Agents, found fentanyl and methamphetamine, a scale and numerous drug paraphernalia items.

Michael Hennigan, 36, and Zoryana Brown, 25, were subsequently arrested and charged with the distribution of fentanyl, distribution of methamphetamine, and numerous other narcotic related charges.
