TRAINING AVAILABLE TO READ FOR FREE ON YOUR PHONE OR TABLET THROUGH MONROE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM

MONROE COUNTY, FL – With a library card, Monroe County residents have access to a wide selection of free popular e-books and audiobooks from the County’s library system via OverDrive at www.keyslibaries.org, or by downloading Libby, the award-winning one-tap reading app from OverDrive.

The library system is hosting four live, 30-minute free virtual demonstrations of how to get started with borrowing e-books and audiobooks through the Libby app for both new and experienced users on Thursday, July 16 at 9, 9:30, 10 and 10:30 a.m. For experienced users or general questions, join the 10:30 a.m. session. OverDrive will also be choosing four random attendees to win a $50 credit to shop.overdrive.com. A link to register is at www.keyslibraries.org.

“We are honored and excited Monroe County was selected for this great training opportunity,” said Anne Rice, Monroe County Library Administrator. “We look forward to a great virtual crowd.”

Library cards are free to Monroe County residents. To enjoy e-books, audiobooks and more, visit www.keyslibraries.org or download the Libby app with your library card number handy. If you do not have a library card yet, simply visit the library website to apply for a virtual card.
