Traffic to alternate on Niles Channel Bridge tonight into morning

Construction crews will be alternating traffic on U.S. 1 at the Nile Channel Bridge — the bridge between Summerland and Ramrod keys — from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. tonight into Wednesday morning.

The northbound lanes on U.S. 1 will be closed and traffic will alternate via the southbound lanes as crews perform roadwork.
