TERRESTRIAL RHYTHM OPENS FEBRUARY  2nd

Duval Square’s Jag Gallery welcomes the return of award winning Key West artist Tory Mata for a solo show of new work in mixed media on panel and ceramics.  Recognized for her minimalist, graceful style, and subtle use of color, the elements in TERRESTRIAL RHYTHM  continues with that visual richness with in new explorations, as seen in her Circular Logic and Labyrinth series along with a return of sorts to familiar terrain as in Closed Loop.  Commanding porcelain and ceramic stoneware, Imperfect Vessels, add a third dimension to this inspired new body of work.

TERRESTRIAL RHYTHM opens with a gallery reception to meet the artist on Friday February 2nd from 5-7.  A gallery talk with Tory will follow later in February.  Both events are free and open to the public.  Terrestrial Rhythm will be available online at jaggallery.art
