Three arrested on drug charges

Three Lower Keys people were arrested on drug charges Wednesday following a traffic stop on Stock Island:

  • Marissa Alycia Curry, 34, of Stock Island, Florida, was charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, possession of amphetamines, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and introducing contraband into a detention facility.
  • Michael Eugene McIntosh, 32, of Big Coppitt Key, Florida, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of amphetamines, and tampering with evidence.
  • Isaiah James Allen, 27, of Key West, Florida, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of amphetamines.

The Sheriff’s Office stopped a Chevrolet sedan at approximately 9:33 p.m. on Maloney Avenue for illegal window tint. Curry was the driver, McIntosh was the front passenger, and Allen was the rear passenger. All three are known to the Sheriff’s Office due to previous interactions with law enforcement.

A Key West Police Department K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A vehicle search yielded a small amount of cocaine in two plastic vials, a baggie containing amphetamines, and drug paraphernalia. Curry was additionally found to be in possession of .66 grams of fentanyl and a marijuana cigarette.
