Three Arrested for Narcotics

On November 8, the Key West Police Department Special Investigations Unit and Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 1314 Flagler Avenue with the assistance of Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence as the result of a narcotics investigation into complaints of drug activity in the home.

During the search, detectives and special agents found cocaine, amphetamine and a multitude of drug paraphernalia associated with fentanyl and other opiate use.

Tony Austin Bethel, 30 was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Amber Dawn Walsh, 41, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of amphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Junior Hamel, 41, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

All arrestees were taken to the Monroe County Detention Center without incident.
