The Florida Highway Patrol with the assistance of the Monroe Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest on a fatal hit and run crash in the Florida Keys
Corporal Cliff Fisher, the lead Traffic Homicide Investigator for the Florida Highway Patrol, has been working this fatal traffic crash which occurred on November 26, 2017. Corporal Fisher gathered evidence, interviewed witnesses and worked closely with the help of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Crime lab, CSI-John Underwood and members of the Detective Bureau.
Corporal Fisher obtained a warrant today for the arrest of Kevin Michael O’Connor, 36, of Oxford, Florida, in the Hit and Run Death of Nehama Rena Monzioch, on November 26, 2017 at US-1 26.5 Mile Marker.
He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the MCSO Jail on Stock Island and is being held on $50,000.
