The Experiment in International: Monroe Students Share their Stories
Sunday, October 22nd at Marathon High School Media Center 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
“What is your Dixie cup story?”
This Sunday, 2:00pm at Marathon High School, students who traveled with The Experiment in International Living last summer will gather in the media center with their parents and share their unique and life-changing travel experiences.
Last July, Seventeen students in the Take Stock in Children program and 13 Experiment essay contest winners participated in a 3-5 week experiential learning program in Europe; the Americas; Africa, south of the Sahara; North Africa and the Middle East; and Asia and the Pacific. During the re-entry workshop this Sunday, the students will share their stories and learn how to condense their experiences into a brief “Dixie cup” story they can share with their friends and family.
Please join us on Sunday, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the media center at Marathon High School to hear directly from our Take Stock in Children and essay contest student participants and learn more about The Experiment in International Living.
