The American Red Cross Receives A $100,000 Donation From Cross Country Healthcare To Support Disaster Relief Fund
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (December 13, 2017) – The American Red Cross received a generous $100,000 gift from Cross Country Healthcare (NASDAQ:CCRN) in honor of their clients and employees who serve their communities across the country. This donation will go toward the support of American Red Cross disaster relief efforts.
Chief Executive Officer of the South Florida Region of the American Red Cross, Joanne Nowlin, commented, “Medical professionals have always been instrumental in the Red Cross’ service delivery since its inception during the Civil War when Clara Barton, a nurse, founded the organization. We are grateful for this partnership with Cross Country Healthcare and we know it will have a positive impact in our communities”.
William Grubbs, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Country Healthcare, explains, “2017 was a year severely impacted by natural disasters, from devastating hurricanes and earthquakes, to flooding and decimating wildfires. Neighborhoods and communities were destroyed. With so much rebuilding and recovering still needed, Cross Country Healthcare felt compelled to give back to those in need. This week, William Burns, Chief Financial Officer, and Kevin Ingham, Chief Human Resources Officer, of Cross Country Healthcare visited the American Red Cross’ West Palm Beach office to present the donation to Joanne Nowlin, Chief Executive Officer of the South Florida Region of the American Red Cross.
