Storm Debris Cleanup Wraps up This Week
As the City of Key West prepares for its busiest season, kicking off with Goombay this coming weekend, it’s time to wrap up debris removal from Hurricane Ian.
Key West residents and business owners are reminded that all storm related debris needs to be set out by now, as City-sponsored cleanup will be finished this week.
This is a reminder NOT to put out bulk that is not storm-related. For bulk pickup, you cannot put out more than two cubic yards and must call Waste Management to arrange for pickup. You must make arrangements with Waste Management before putting out bulk waste. Failure to arrange with Waste Management can result in a code violation.
Please be sure to separate vegetative debris from appliances and building debris. Household garbage must be put in trash collection bins for regular pickup.
