Linda Petrocine, the newest artist to the Stock Island Art Stroll uses one of the oldest forms of painting to create her striking landscapes and abstracts. Linda Petrocine’s encaustic art is adapted from the technique first developed by the ancient Egyptians. Linda mixes beeswax, oil colors and resins, then bonds them with a torch to create landscapes and other pieces with incredible depth, texture and emotion. She’ll be happy to demonstrate this unique art form for you. Also at the Stockyard, you will find Pamela Kostmayer’s studio, Sacred Space’s gallery of 16 local female artists with three work spaces, stone sculptor, Craig Berube-Gray and Conch Republic Body Essentials, specializing in an Artisan hand crafted luxury bath and body products.
