State Road (SR) A1A/South Roosevelt Boulevard from Bertha Street to the end of Smathers Beach

Pump Station and seawall work are ongoing. Curb installation and sidewalk construction to continue. Roadway striping scheduled for nighttime operations beginning Tuesday, July 2.

Lane Closure/Detour Information:

  • Two travel lanes are temporarily closed, and travel is reduced to a single lane in each direction.
  • Nighttime operations to stripe the roadway are scheduled for Tuesday, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Expect single lane closures with flagging operations near Bertha Street.
  • There is NO PARKING on the south side of the roadway within the construction zone.
  • All stairways and the Promenade are open for beach access. Continue to use crosswalks in place.
  • Please be advised that temporary road closures may occur when heavy rains cause significant ponding on the roadway.
