Sorenson Youth Sailing Program Receives CFFK Grant
Mark Sorenson Youth Sailing Program was awarded $2,650 by the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys through its 2017 Grant Program.
The grant will support the “Key Largo Summer Sailing Camp,” which introduces 70 to 90 Florida Keys children to sailing. The grant will also help support full scholarships for 10 to 15 students from low-income families to participate.
The Grant Program is funded through generous donations made to the Future Fund at CFFK, which supports grants to local nonprofits throughout the Keys. More information on all funded recipients is at www.cffk.org.
