Social Services Director Graham Appointed to NACo Steering Committee
MONROE COUNTY, FL – Monroe County Social Services Senior Director Sheryl Graham was recently appointed by the National Association of Counties (NACo) president to the Human Services and Education Steering Committee as vice-chair of the Aging Subcommittee due to her talent and leadership. She was also appointed as a member to the Programs and Services Standing Committee.
“It is always beneficial for Monroe County to have a voice in these nationwide conversations,” said Monroe County Administrator Roman Gastesi. “Congratulations to Sheryl and her appointment.”
The committee will cover children, foster care, public assistance and income support, services to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, immigration policy, social services, and education issues.
Graham has been with Monroe County since 2006 and the director of Social Services since 2008.
