Snake Creek Bridge traffic advisory

Workers for the Florida Department of Transportation will begin temporary, nighttime 15-minute closures of U.S. 1 at the Snake Creek Bridge at Mile Marker 85 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on April 6 to run through April 10.

U.S. 1 will be closed in both directions while new structural components are installed.

This work requires the drawbridge to be opened and closed one or more times. Drivers will be required to wait on either side of the bridge until the bridge reopens. This work is being done as part of the ongoing bridge rehabilitation project.

Note that this schedule may change due to bad weather or other unforeseen conditions.
