Sheriff’s Office dominates charity pistol competition
Three Monroe County Sheriff’s Office members took first, second and third place at the Hoot Shoot for South Florida law enforcement Friday in Miami.
“I couldn’t be prouder of everyone who participated in a great cause and it’s especially nice to have bragging rights among our law enforcement partners to the north,” said Sheriff Rick Ramsay.
The winners were:
- First Place: Special Operations Detective Addison LaPradd
- Second Place: Corrections Deputy Anthony Owen
- Third Place: Major Crimes Detective Justin Rivas
Proceeds from the event go to support the American Cancer Society.
