Seeking Planning Board Applicants

District II City Commissioner Sam Kaufman seeking applicants to fill a position on the City of Key West Planning Board. Qualified applicants must reside within the City of Key West.

Please submit resumes to the commission office at City Hall, 1300 White Street. Deadline for submissions is noon Friday, February 28, 2020.

The City of Key West Planning Board hears a spectrum of important public planning issues, ranging from specific development approval requests to changes to the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations.
Depending on the nature of the land development regulatory activity or proposed Ordinance, the Planning Board serves in an advisory capacity making recommendations to the City Commission, or makes decisions final in nature, subject to appeal either to the City Commission or court of law.
