Schooner Wharf Bar will host a benefit concert on November 29

On November 29 Schooner Wharf Bar will host a benefit concert for our own Magic Frank Everhart, featuring an all star Key West line up of musicians and magicians!  In October, Frank Everhart’s corneas were burned away in a freak accident involving a cleaning solution.  He has performed for the Schooner Wharf for over 20 years, and we are hopeful he can return within the year with proper medical attention. He is currently under special care and faces surgery and a long rehabilitation.
Headlining the show is world renowned songwriter and performer from the great band, Poco, Paul Cotton.  Chris Thomas will kick things off at 3pm, and Keys favorite Howard Livingston will perform at 4pm. Larry Baeder and Dora Gholson will generously bring their remarkable talents to the stage.  And returning for the event, a Keys legend and organizer of the show David Goodman returns, playing with his old band mate, bassist Wayne Hammond of Pete and Wayne fame.  Pete and Wayne will also make an appearance, and Goodman will perform with Paul Cotton and band, also joined by Hammond.  The ever so talented Raven Cooper, who performs for the Schooner regularly, is scheduled to perform. Saxist Marty Stonely will make an appearance, along with Gary Hempsey and Terry Cassidy.
The ever so entertaining and baffling MIchael Trixx brings his blend of visual and audio magic to the stage around 6 p.m.  Magician/Comedian Kevin King will appear (from Orlando), and local legend Tim Glancey will also be wowing us with his mind boggling wizardry!
Hosting the show will be Keys Radio star, Bill Hoebee.  Captain Bill Grosscup, a close friend of Everhart, will be appearing.
A silent auction will be held and 100% of all funds donated will go DIRECTLY for Frank Everhart’s medical and living expenses.
Don’t miss this exciting afternoon beginning around 3 p.m. on November 29th!
