SBDC at FKCC and Key West Chamber of Commerce Hold Free Seminar on Government Contracts for Small Businesses
KEY WEST, FL, May 14, 2018— In partnership with the Key West Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Keys Community College will present a free seminar entitled “Small Business, Big Contracts” on Tuesday, May 22 at 5 p.m. in Room M-304A at the College’s Key West Campus. The forum is geared for local, small business owners who want to learn how to bid for federal contracts individually and collaboratively. Currently there are many opportunities for businesses to work with the government on post-Hurricane Irma recovery projects. Ray Lewis, Business Opportunity Specialist from the South Florida SBA, will provide guidance through registering in the Systems of Awards Management (SAM) Database.
