Sanctuary leads marine debris cleanup at county park
Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary seeks volunteers for a Goal: Clean Seas Florida Keys marine debris cleanup on November 9, 2019. The shoreline cleanup at Harry Harris Park in Tavernier, Florida, starts at 9 a.m. Participants will catalog debris collected to assist NOAA in studying and addressing marine debris issues.
To volunteer, you must be at least 15 years old. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The Goal: Clean Seas Florida Keys initiative was established by Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation in response to the significant amount of marine debris left in the wake of Hurricane Irma.
