Rip-OffTeam suspends picketing 518 Duval St cosmetic shop

The Key West Rip-Off Rapid Response Team has temporarily suspended their sidewalk protest in front of Cleopatra, formerly Oro Gold, 518 Duval Street. 

The twelve week protest against the notorious cosmetic shop was suspended Wednesday afternoon for the health and safety of the protesters and the public.

“We want to protect our own people and everyone in Key West with social distancing and common sense prevention. We are very sorry to see the skin cream shops are still open for business as of Friday afternoon. We are calling on these shops to voluntarily shut down, as the nature of their business is touching peoples faces,” said spokesperson for the group Tevis Wernicoff.
