REEF RELIEF REFLECTS ON A RECORD BREAKING SCHOOL YEAR
Reef Relief is pleased to announce a milestone achievement within their Discover Coral Reefs School Program. During the 2023-2024 school year this program reached 15,533 children across 45 states, 2 U.S. territories, and 20 countries. In this program, Reef Relief educators teach Pre-Kindergarten to High School age students in person throughout Monroe County, and virtually around the world in live classroom lessons on various marine science related topics. These lessons are provided free of charge to participants in an effort to make sure marine science education is accessible to all regarless of location or economic status. This record breaking achievement can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of Reef Relief’s Education Team. Reef Relief is extremely proud of all they have accomplished, and look forward maintaining the success of this program in the coming years.
