Reckless driver arrested

A 34-year-old York, Pennsylvania man was arrested Saturday for speeding and nearly causing crashes on U.S. 1.

Michael Moore was charged with resisting lawful commands and reckless driving.

The Sheriff’s Office observed Moore driving in excess of 80 mph and nearly striking several other vehicles and pedestrians near Mile Marker 92 at approximately 4:42 p.m. Multiple motorists also reported Moore to 911.

Moore refused to stand where instructed during the incident, pushed Deputies away, and tensed his body in an effort to avoid getting into a patrol vehicle.
