A public meeting will be held Saturday to wrap up the New World Screwworm eradication efforts and explain the monitoring that will continue regarding the endangered Key deer.
Representatives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Florida Department and Agriculture and Consumer Services, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Refuge and Monroe County will be at the meeting to discuss what was done and what will happen in the future – and to answer questions.
