Olga Manosalvas shows large body of Olgas’ on March 9th and 10th
For years Keys locals have had only a taste of Olga Manosalvas’ work, often seen through her commercial side at Baby’s Coffee, the business her husband Gary and she, have owned for 30 years. We are very honored to have the opportunity to show a large body of Olgas’ work this month, with opening dates of Friday and Saturday night, March 9th & 10th, 5-8:00, at Collections, Key West, 6810 Front Street, Stock Island.
Olga attended the Academia Bellas Artes, in Madrid Spain as well as Parsons School of Design. The combination of her academic training, coupled with her mystical imagery and tropical color is nothing less than spellbinding. Her work is shot through with magical realism as well as Caribbean occultism… Voodoo, Santeria and the synchronicity between Christianity and these mysterious religions.
You’ll find her work at the waters edge at Safe Harbour Marina, just down the dock from the Hogfish Bar & Grill and upstairs of the Lost Kitchen Supper Club. Join us opening nights, Friday & Saturday, March 9th & 10th, 5-8:00. Show extends till April 4th and is presented by Collections, Key West, 6810 Front Street, Stock Island. Call 305-923-4778 for more information. Olga Manosalvas is a life force of art and inspiration. Don’t miss this show!
