New Community Mental Health Agency Opens in Key West
Key West, March 15, 2017 – A new non-profit community substance abuse and mental health treatment agency is opening in Key West. Key Bridge, Inc. will be providing individual and group treatment for clients of all ages and their families. Organized in 2016, they opened their doors to the public this month and offer a complement of services.
The staff at Key Bridge offers, substance abuse and mental health counseling, case management, and community resource information all through a generous sliding scale fee with fees starting at $15 for a one-hour individual counseling session and $5 for a group session and going up depending on income. Additionally, Key Bridge can work with all payment sources and all insurance companies. Michael Rogers, President says “Here at Key Bridge, we are committed to a single goal. The group sessions have a wide range of topics and are gender sensitive as well as trauma-informed. Clients, whether they are individuals, couples, or families can have unique dynamics and unique struggles and Key Bridge is committed to finding solutions for their clients that are practical and will work. The groups are engaging, multi-media based curricula and the counselors are trained in many of the latest evidence-based treatment options like CBT and EMDR.
On Thursday March 30, Key Bridge will be hosting an Open House at their new offices. The times for the Open House are 4:00PM – 7:00PM and the address is in the Key West Professional Plaza, 1111 12th St, Suite 212, Key West. The public is invited to come and see first-hand the inviting and warm atmosphere of the therapy rooms and friendly staff.
