National HIV Testing Day Observed in Monroe County

In light of National HIV Testing Day, June 27, the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County (DOH-Monroe) will be providing HIV testing services at no cost to anyone interested in getting tested that week.  Testing is also offered at the Gato Building in Key West every Monday and Wednesday from 9am to noon and 1pm to 3pm on a walk-in basis at no cost.   In addition, in partnership with AIDS Help, Inc., DOH-Monroe will be having a special HIV testing day at the Martin Luther King Community Center and Pool on Saturday, July 1 from 4 pm to 7 pm.  We will also be giving out $10 Publix gift cards to participants while supplies last.   National HIV Testing Day is observed each year to encourage HIV testing and increase awareness of the impact of HIV/AIDS in the United States.  For more information, call (305) 809-5665 or visit Monroe.flhealth.gov.
